This benefit is part of the National Burlesque Festival in Support of The Troops which sends collections of 1940s inspired pin-ups to those serving overseas.
The free distribution of both books (there is one of women and one of men) is supported entirely through the sale of the books and benefits like this one.
This event features members of The Boston Babydolls, members of The Babes in Boinkland, Ivy Bowers (formerly of The Blue Angel Cabaret), The Lovely Machete, middle eastern dancer Zehara Necash, and many others!
All tickets to the event are general admission, but the ticket prices range from $5 to $50 so you can make a contribution that fits your budget. The space for the performance is generously being donated by the YMCA of Cambridge.
