Hey Burlesque Meet-uppers!

Wow -- we have a BUNCH of new members in the past month. Let's all welcome Katie, Ellen, Matt, Lucrezia, another Matt, Eve, Ross, Jodie, Maya, Lee, Jean, and Sophia! And you new folks (and those of you who haven't already) how about answering those profile questions? I know some of you are burlesque dancers...

Speaking of which, a bunch of you have expressed interest in burlesque dance lessons in Boston. Although this isn't an official Meet-up, on Saturday, Apr. 26 Miss Mina (of The Boston Babydolls) is teaching Instant Burlesque Queen in Allston. Check it out!

And... I'm about to schedule an official Meet Up for Sunday, April 27. I try not to post every Boston Babydoll show here -- but this one is amazing. We've got a great band and a very special guest.

The band is The Bomboleros who play gypsy jazz, which combines the smolder of Latin music with the cool licks of jazz and a serious back beat. They're a real treat to listen to.

Then, all the way from Los Angeles -- it's Miss Viva Las Vegas 2008! Dizzy Van Damn just killed the competition at the annual Viva Las Vegas rockabilly weekender. She's making a rare appearance on the East Coast and The Boston Babydolls are perfectly pleased to be playing hostess for her! Come and see while this L.A. doll was crowned Vegas' queen of burlesque!
