It's the first birthday of the cabaret and burlesque meetup folks. We've come along way in a year and so has the burlesque and cabaret scene.

We welcome everyone who has ever been to a meetup and everyone who has ever performed back for the biggest show we have ever done.

It's going to be an epic evening of kitch comedy, cabaret and burlesque.

Our three best ever meetup hosts Freddie Valentine, Dickie Beau and Mr Meredith will each be hosting a 20/25 minute show.

With performances from...

Persephone Lewin: visual comedy like you've never seen with musical instruments, water fights and a penguin!

Sweet Tooth - 4 piece vintage inspired band perform 3 songs from their forthcoming album "Wow and Flutter"

Miss Ruby Rocks - where burlesque meets egyptian bellydance.

The Glitterkittens - This superb burlesque troop bring us charleston with a comic twist.

Devon Deville - Ahoy there for a trip to the seaside. Devon puts the naughty into nautical.

Kitten Von Strumpet - transports us out of the 1940s to a burlesque space odyssey.

Elisa Belle - This sexy chantress will sing classic 1940s songs to entertain the troops.

Sophia Blackwell - where brilliant intelligent performance poetry meets burlesque

There is a one hour taster blues dance class from from Simon Selmon of the London Swing Dance Society from 6.30-7.30. Places are limted to confirm yours email [masked]. Class £7.

As it's our birthday there will be cake.

Skull Candy Hats will be showing their head topping wears.

We also have an optional 1940s dress up theme, military uniforms ladies and gents!

The theme is in honour of a friend of mine and the meetup who is been battling cancer. We'll raise a glass to his health and we'll jump around to his favourite tune Springtime for Hitler.

Doors will open for the meetup at 7.45. STILL ONLY £3.

We won't be doing Talk to a Stranger networking at this event because there's just too much entertainment but we hope you'll talk to strangers anyway in the open and friendly spirit that we've always encouraged at meet up.

See you there.

    •  A lovely party organised by lovely people!!!
    •  Everyone in the room lighting their individual cake candles and singing along with the whole show cast at the end was the highlight for me. Love you people xx
    •  I had a wonderful evening. I particularly enjoyed the stripping space cadet and the band Sweet Thing (surely destined for even bigger things!).
    • Stephen (+1 guest)
Disappointed with a lot of the acts, wasn't as good as past meetups, pity really. Need more seating!!
    •  Fantastic line up. The show was excellent. It was everything I wished for and more. Brillant singing, acting, dressing. It was a feast for the eyes and the ears. Liked the cupcakes too! Can't wait for the next event.
