Hello lovelies,

After a most incredible 1st birthday event at Madame Jojos, the meetup is taking a chill pill and heading this month to hip East London for our next event this Thursday.

Thursday 3rd July

at The Vibe Live, upstairs in the Truman Brewery, Brick Lane

Doors open at 8pm. Show from 9pm.
STILL ONLY £3.

With performances from...

London Burlesque award winning duo Frivoltease.

Tiara Diamond

Lily Saint Sin is the sexy scientist

Miss Rose Thorne transforms into The Elephant Woman

and we couldn't have a 13th meetup without a dash of horror.
Opera singer Nara Taylor rides the Valkyrie with knives and gore for sure.

All hosted by Cabaret and Burlesque meet up favourite, performance poet Sophia Blackwell who returns to host this show.

We are currently looking for 1/2 NON burlesque acts. Contact [masked] if you are interested in performing.

We've got this venue to ourselves so vintage and assorted dancing until close. See you there folks

The room at the Vibe and the locality both have loads of potential and the venue's bar staff were friendly. The sound man, however, really should give up (...whatever it is he smokes!)

In Television's 'Golden Days', shows were often presented by an Old Gay Comedian with a Beautiful Glamorous and Charming assistant. In Bridget, the London Burlesque and Cabaret Meetup Group already have the BGC assistant ...made in Heaven (and ready for an immediate transfer to Channel 4). Cathy ...has only a little way to go.

    •  It was a good show shame the numbers were low but then it was a new venue and the birthday party last month was soo huge. Yup the sound guy was lovely but not on the ball. I think back to the West End next time folks!

Beautiful girls, an amazing magician and what a poem on "the Wilderness Years"! It may be online-check it out
    •  A good selection of artists/acts performing at a good venue especially suitable for this type of meet-up; nice surroundings, comfy and informal, just a pity about the DJ wasn?t quite his scene was it!
    •  Very entertaining! Good supportive atmosphere for performers. Good mc-ing. Terrible dj-ing, very frustrating for performers & audience alike. Great performances, we particularly enjoyed The Elephant Woman & the magician!! We will be coming again! Cheers!!
