I read the email which says the London Burlesque and Cabaret Meetup Group will close unless someone step ups.

I will happily pay for a month as an Organiser to keep it going, and that way we can arrange another fantastic meet up, and there are some great new paces to host events if people are interested. And that way people can decide who they'd like to run the meet up, or put heads together collectively.

Just to let you know a little bit more about me - I have run Vive Le Can Can and Grotesque Burlesque Workshops in London. I have also run some Dr Sketchy Brighton events for the Brighton Fringe Festival. I put on events in and around London, and devise acts - although I do not perform, and would love to continue this meet up as an open platform, and for all those who want to perform assisting people in creating acts, putting together music (potentially original pieces), find new venues/nights/events to perform at/showcase talents. Find workshops. Organise nights. Just come together for the love of cabaret and burlesque and meeting new people, making new friend.
